Elkton, VA Wedding - Julie + Rex

Julie + Rex's rustic, elegant, riverside wedding was filled with so many beautiful details and so much love! The two met each other 40 years ago, and their union was so emotional that it even made their pastor cry! Julie and Rex have known one another since the 2nd grade, and after their 30 year class reunion the two reconnected online, and the rest is history!

Their ceremony and reception were both held beside the river the couple love to fish together, beneath the towering tree where Rex proposed to Julie. The reception decor was very beautiful and elegant, with pastel table cloths offset by wooden chargers and clay-potted succulents. But what I truly loved about this couple's stunning day was how thoughtful they were with their family and each other--sharing touching gifts and cards with one another throughout the morning.
