Richmond Wedding in Spring at Family Home
Even though I’m a Richmond wedding photographer, I end up shooting a lot of my weddings in DC. So I was excited when my friend Justin reached out to see if I’d shoot a wedding with him right down the road from me in RVA. My wedding year was completely booked solid, but this wedding was in April, and my marathon of weddings wouldn’t start until May—so I was available!
And then, meeting the grooms, I was even more excited to help capture T & N’s Richmond backyard wedding! These two complement each other so well, and I loved their personal style.
Some of my favorite details from their day included the needlepoint cummerbunds that N made himself featuring their monograms and pups. The home’s garden was filled with peonies and was the perfect spot for guests to explore during cocktail hour. (And for portraits!)
