Anna + Chase’s Church Hill Engagement Photos in Fall

For their Church Hill engagement photos, I met up with Anna and Chase at his family’s home in the historic neighborhood. While we were there, I got to meet their pup Auggie and Chases’ family dog, Wolf. Auggie was an adorable camera hog and wanted to be in every photo! Such a cutie! (Wolf was under the weather and feeling a little more camera shy!)

We grabbed a few shots at the house (with Auggie, of course!) before heading out into one of my absolute favorite neighborhoods in Richmond.

It was a perfect fall day, and the leaves were really colorful and glowy! We walked over to the Church Hill Overlook at Richmond Hill first, and then wandered over to Libby Hill Park for sunset. I loved getting to know this fun couple a little better as we took their engagement photos!

The couple met at college when mutual friends introduced them. When it came time to propose, Chase did something so sweet!

He proposed to Anna at her childhood home the weekend before her parents sold it.

Anna suspected that perhaps Chase wanted to go there that weekend so he could ask for her dad’s blessing. But as it turned out, he had already done that the week before, and Anna’s parents were already in on the plan!

I can’t wait for their 2020 Summer Linden Row Wedding!

Here are a few of my favorite images from Anna + Chase’s Fall Church Hill Engagement Photo Session!
