Richmond Wedding Photographer | Bridal Portraits at the Virginia State Capitol
Richmond Bridal Portraits | Jessica
We may have taken Jessica’s bridal portraits at the Virginia State Capitol on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. You’d never know it was sweltering, though, looking at how stunning (and cool!) Jessica looked in her Morilee designer gown from Tiffany’s Bridal!

Her mom and sister came along to help, which is always much appreciated. There is a reason brides have bridesmaids, those dresses are heavy and require a bit of help navigating!
I love the Capitol as a backdrop for portraits. The architecture and landscaping are beautiful. But the abundance of white bounces lots of clean white, flattering light on the bride. And since it’s all white, there’s nothing to distract from the subject!
Jessica is truly a classic beauty and I loved photographing her bridal portraits and her wedding to Josh at St. Joseph’s Church.
