Kelsey & Alex’s Dover Hall wedding featured a dreamy ceremony by the reflecting pool, dinner and toasts in the glass hall, and dancing in the ballroom.
The one thing about Dover Hall as a wedding venue is that it doesn’t just look like a castle; it provides the perfect spaces to host your guests like they’re kings and queens.
Kelsey & Alex met rather serendipitously ten years ago when they were both in graduate school. Alex is from Maryland, and Kelsey is from Atlanta, but the two met in Kansas while he was in medical school and Kelsey was pursuing her PhD.
After years of a long-distance relationship, the two finished training for their careers and both ended up calling Richmond, VA, home. While vacationing together in Turks & Caicos, Alex secretly arranged a private dinner on the beach where he asked Kelsey to marry him!
On their wedding day, Caroline and the incredible planning team, Carson Ashby, helped bring the couple’s vision of a spring garden party to life.
Hydrangea blue, pale lilac, periwinkle, peaches, spring green, and pink were reflected in the invitation suite, florals, linens, and bridesmaid dresses. The colors made another appearance as guests ate dinner in the glass hall, via a spectacular sunset.
Kelsey & Alex, you two truly had the best wedding day, and we loved every minute of celebrating with you!
