Cyrus had only been in the U.S. for a few weeks when fate intervened on New Year’s Eve at a favorite local spot. A canceled trip, a thick Scottish accent, and a chance meeting led to phone numbers exchanged—and a text just minutes later that simply read, “I fancy you.”
Two days after their first official date, the rest truly became history.
