Fine Art Wedding Photographers at Rural Plains, Richmond VA

These Rural Plains wedding photos are beautiful proof that love’s still winning in the midst of this crazy year! As a Richmond wedding photographer in 2020, I saw all kinds of firsts this year.

I had my first wedding postponement. My first wedding PREponement. First micro-wedding. And the list goes on and on. And in this time when social distancing meant we didn’t see nearly enough of some of our loved ones, these two found each other and found love.

Ashley and Clayton met online toward the beginning of the pandemic. Then they met in real life, started dating, and fell in love. Soon after, they got engaged, and then got married—all during the Pandemic!

We met up for their Rural Plains engagement photos with a special plan in mind. Mid-way into their session when most couples change into a second outfit, Ashley and Clayton changed into their wedding clothes!

I just loved spending time with these two. They are filled with such joy at finding one another and are so cute together!
