Black Tie Wedding at Richmond Wedding Venue | Andrew + Bryan

Andrew & Bryan's Richmond wedding photos looked even more magical when a mist rolled in on the water after the rain.
In August 2014, Bryan moved in early for band camp at Villanova University for his freshman year. Andrew was also in the band and a junior at the time. Andrew was the second person that Bryan talked to at Villanova. After they met, they both felt an instant connection and started dating a couple of months later, and the rest is history!
Despite the rain, it was still an enchanting wedding, and the venue was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a calming and warm atmosphere. Celebrations at the Reservoir, which announced its closure in January 2022, was a 125-acre waterfront complex with some of the region’s prettiest waterfront views.
The couple exchanged white and red roses during their ceremony. Their officiant, a fellow Villanova alum, shared what marriage means to the couple through an adapted reading by Neil Gaiman.
While many wedding toasts sound more like roasts, Andrew & Bryan's praises were just the opposite. Not only do these two love to travel, having visited 26 countries together, but they volunteer to help people wherever they travel. Andrew and Bryan served in the Peace Corps for two years and used their engineering degrees to help others have safe drinking water.
Andrew's aunt Adria also wanted to convey how big Andrew and Bryan's hearts are. She shared the popular Bible verse from Corinthians that is often read at weddings but with a twist.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 reads: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Guests wiped tears as she read: "Andrew is patient, Bryan is kind. Andrew does not envy; Bryan does not boast. Andrew is not proud. . ." Her voice cracked as she continued to read the rest of the verse that she'd altered for the couple.
It was a great time celebrating these two! Their precious pup joined in on some of their portraits. Congratulations, Bryan and Andrew!
