Lauren and Taylor had a perfect intimate Free Union Wedding at a private residence outside of Charlottesville.

Taylor and Lauren met on a popular dating app back in 2019. They met at a local brewery within walking distance of Lauren's apartment for their first date. This date was casual, as Taylor had just been on a long bike ride, and Lauren brought her dog, Bandit. It was love on the first date, and these two have been inseparable since.

In the midst of the pandemic, Lauren and Taylor stayed at her grandparent's cabin in Colorado's mountains. It was the perfect time for them to get engaged while sharing some time with just the two of them.

Lauren & Taylor shared such a sweet and emotional first look. From the second Lauren tapped Taylor on the shoulder, he started to tear up. The two shared a private moment as they embraced, obviously overjoyed to be embarking on their marriage journey together.

They had the perfect intimate wedding with about twenty of their family members in attendance. Their fall wedding was held at a family’s home in Free Union. The Blue Ridge mountains made the perfect backdrop for their wedding.

Incorporating sentimental details into a couple's wedding day is always one of my favorite parts. Lauren wore her mother's wedding band on her pinkie finger, and Taylor wore his father's wedding band.

There was a beautiful wooden arch adorned with flowers for Taylor and Lauren to stand in front of for their ceremony. The wedding flowers were gorgeous deep reds with hints of blue and purple. Bandit, Lauren's dog, was also in attendance, and he wore a small flower collar. After the couple shared their first kiss, their guests threw flower petals at them as they walked down the aisle.

The long wooden boardwalk and platform was constructed just for the couple’s wedding. The boardwalk provided Lauren a truly dramatic entrance. The platform was handpainted with a compass rose and arrows pointing to different family members’ home, indicating how far each is from Free Union.

An elegant and romantic dinner was held afterward with beautiful wooden farm tables on the brick patio. Taylor, Lauren, and their guests enjoyed an evening filled with drinks, dancing, and cake. They served three signature drinks of lavender lemonade, an old-fashioned, and a blackberry smash.

Lauren & Taylor, thanks so much for trusting me with your wedding photography! You guys were absolutely awesome all day and were so fun to work with!
