Irvington Welcome Party Mary & Thax’s guests were transported to the Caribbean for their backyard Irvington Welcome Party by the pool!
Guests were treated to steel drums as they arrived for the welcome party to celebrate Mary & Thax’s wedding. The music helped set the tone, and guests arrived in brightly colored attire in tropical colors. Blue-and-white striped umbrellas and colorful florals decorated the backyard around the family pool.
A bar was set up serving specialty drinks under the pool pavilion, and guests enjoyed wood-fired pizzas being prepared on site by Fifty-One Pizza and served in the back of the property. (Bonus—Fifty-One’s vintage blue vintage truck matched the vibe and provided a great backdrop for some photos with the couple!
The party was designed for guests to enjoy themselves and spend time together. Every need was anticipated—no surprise since the hosts are no strangers to southern hospitality. Thax’s parents are the professional caterers, Cater2Events (and definitely one of my favorite vendors to work alongside on a wedding day!)
Mary & Thax’s welcome party kicked their Northern Neck wedding weekend off in style!
