This Middleton Place wedding editorial in Charleston, SC was so much fun to photograph! We had an absolute dream team of Charleston wedding vendors with California wedding stylist Carrie Moe of Type A Society producing the editorial.

This shoot got cut very short when bad thunderstorms rolled in and refused to leave. We waited for hours and were finally able to head back out, but at that point, the sun was setting. I’m still very proud and happy with what we were able to capture!

Middleton Place is a national landmark historic home museum in Charleston, SC. The historic venue also features the nation’s oldest landscaped gardens in Charleston. I love that proceeds from events held here help fund educational programs for the museum.

The Charleston wedding photos was inspired by my love of blue and white, toile and chinoiserie. My great aunt gave me a set of blue and white dishes when I set up my first apartment while a college student that I still have and love. I’m excited that this beautiful blue and white wedding editorial was featured on the fine art wedding blog, Wedding Sparrow.

Some of my favorite elements of this shoot would have to include the beautiful Anne Barge gowns and the blue wedding gown. The two different bouquets and other florals were so loose and flowy and I love how their soft pasetl palate looked against the blues. And I absolutely adored the antique jewelry from EraGem! We had three separate stunning rings and beautiful aquamarine and diamond antique earrings that were all stunners!
