Richmond Engagement Session at VMFA and The Virginia State Capitol

I know I’m always bragging about my awesome #MAPcouples, but it’s because it’s completely true. Lauren and John are the best! These two were so much fun during their engagement session. And their sweet dog, Daisy, would give any of the doggie actors in Hollywood a run for their money. She completely posed perfectly on command. The three of them together—just perfection. (I mean, check out Lauren’s fun floral heels!)

How They Met

Lauren and John met when a friend asked Lauren over for a BBQ and her husband's handsome co-worker, John, was there. Throughout the evening the two learned that they had a lot in common—they are both from the DC area, are baseball fans and beach lovers, and they both enjoy country music concerts! The two met up for drinks again shortly after meeting, and the rest is history!

How He Asked

While the couple was vacationing in Hawaii, John found a beautiful spot overlooking the resort gardens and the ocean. Lauren just thought they were just exploring the resort grounds, but John had other plans! He was searching for a beautiful but secluded spot so they could share an intimate moment for their proposal.

I can’t wait for their spring 2020 wedding at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and The Boathouse!
