A Sandbridge Beach Wedding at Count Your Blessings was the wedding of Nataleigh and Dan's dreams!
A mutual friend introduced these two at the gym where they both belonged. Everyone went out for pizza one night, and the rest is history!
Nataleigh's favorite holiday, Christmas, served as the perfect time for Dan to pop the question to her. They had been to an outdoor ice skating rink and took a break that led them to a big Christmas tree.
At the tree, she noticed a heart-shaped ornament with the saying, "Love has a nice ring to it." The engagement ring was hanging with the ornament, and he got down on one knee and proposed. What a magically romantic time for them!
Nataleigh had always dreamt of having a beach wedding. If you are planning a beach wedding in Virginia, Sandbridge Beach is the perfect setting. These two rented a home called Count Your Blessings and hosted all of the wedding activities there. It worked perfectly and was the laid-back setting they wanted for their intimate wedding.
They had a stunning ceremony backdrop with clear blue skies, a white sand beach, and a gorgeous blue ocean. A light wooden arbor was the focal point of the ceremony space with white draping and beautiful florals. Each of them read personal vows during their ceremony, which was very touching. The sound of the waves crashing was so calming while these two became married!
Wedding portraits on the beach always look so romantic. After strolling along the beach as newlyweds, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour by the pool. A beach theme was interiorly decorated so stylishly and elegantly.
Once the traditional events were over for the night, we headed back out to the beach for sunset portraits. We captured the most perfect, pastel-colored sunset! For a few fun photos, Nataleigh added a customized jean jacket with her new last name embellished with pearls.
The unique blood moon captured everyone’s attention as it showed off its beauty as it set over the ocean to end the evening.
Nataleigh and Dan, celebrating with you two and your closest family and friends was such a treat. I loved getting to know you both — you have such kind hearts! I wish you all the best in your lifetime of happiness together!
