Williamsburg Wedding Photographer | William & Mary Engagement

Elizabeth & Sam flew in from Chicago to meet up with me at their alma mater for their College of William & Mary engagement photos in Williamsburg, VA.

The couple first met as 15-year-old high schoolers at sailing camp one summer and spent the month becoming friends. They left with no expectation they’d ever see one another again. But at college orientation, Elizabeth heard a voice that sounded familiar and that’s when she spied Sam! The two ended up on the same sailing team and fell in love representing their school at the regattas.

William & Mary campus is beautiful and it was the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. We started the session at the Crim Dell Bridge and made our way over to the old campus. Elizabeth is a dancer, so of course we had to capture some shots of the two of them dancing together on campus.

I can’t wait for their Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden wedding this summer in Richmond!
