A magical Early Mountain Vineyards wedding at Christmas was the perfect celebration for Jordan and Luke.

Luke and Jordan attended graduate school at VCU together. Though they didn't know each other until they started working together, they became friends and then started dating.

Four years later, they drove around looking at Christmas lights and ended up at Oregon Hill Overlook. The view over the Richmond skyline is beautiful from this location, making it a romantic spot for Luke to propose!

Since they started dating in December and got engaged in December, they thought, why not come full circle and get married in December as well! The two chose Early Mountain Vineyards as their wedding venue because of its fully indoor option. You never know what a December wedding will be like here in Virginia, so it worked out perfectly!

During golden hour, as the sun began to set, Jordan and Luke shared a private first look. The winter sunset gave their photos a soft romantic glow, which was terrific. Jordan had four of the cutest-looking flower girls. They all wore green dresses that matched her bridesmaids perfectly.

The interior ceremony was in front of a white brick fireplace adorned with fresh flowers. As Luke read his vows, he got emotional, which was heartwarming. They enjoyed a lovely ceremony while surrounded by their loved ones.

The couple’s reception featured King's tables lined with florals. King's table seating is large tables with seating on both sides, allowing for better conversation. The space was filled with candles giving a warm, cozy feel. When it came time for the traditional dance with their parents, they did it together for one song instead of each of them taking a turn. The rest of the evening was so fun for the newlyweds and their guests as they danced the night away.
