Tabitha + Austin’s Sorella Farms Wedding

Tabitha and Austin are such a sweet couple and their Sorella Farms wedding photos show that their day was as sentimental as it was beautiful!

Tabitha and Austin met their senior year of college in a photography class, and were engaged in Grayson Highlands State Park. When the couple came upon the wild ponies, the snow began to fall. Austin got down on one knee and proposed! “Snow, wild ponies, beautiful surroundings. . . It was perfect!” Tabitha shared.

Their Sorella Farms wedding in Evington, Virginia started off a little soggy. The rain was really pouring hard all morning as I drove to the venue and I prayed for just a little window of time in the day that was dry enough to take couple portraits outside!

When I arrived at the venue, even the rain couldn’t diminish how beautiful the surroundings were! If anything, the heavy skies and glistening grass just made everything even prettier. (And the venue owners were so nice and helpful all day!)

I always love the chatter and excitement in the bridal suite. It’s so wonderful how the bridesmaids come together to support the bride! Despite the rain, everyone was so cheerful and the bridal suite at Sorella Farms is so pretty!

After Tabitha’s mom and bridesmaids helped her in her dress, she shared an emotional First Look with her dad. She and Austin also read letters they had written to each other, and the tears flowed!

The weather gradually cleared and so the ceremony was held outside as planned. Right when the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, the clouds parted, and the sun shined brightly to welcome the newly married couple!
