Do I Need A Separate Bridal Portrait Session Before My Wedding?

Should I Take Bridal Portraits Before My Wedding Day?
Brides often ask if they should schedule a separate bridal portrait session before wedding day. Here are some reasons you may want to take your bridal portraits before your wedding.
You have a tight timeline. Perhaps you’re having a winter wedding when there isn’t as much sunlight for us to work with. Or maybe you aren’t doing a first look. Sometimes the pretty locations at your venue would be in plain sight of your groom and guests before the wedding so we can’t go there for your bridal portraits before the ceremony, but there isn’t a lot of time after the wedding ceremony before your reception starts. There could be many reasons why your timeline is a little full, and if that’s the case, you may want to consider booking a separate session for your bridal portraits before your wedding.
You want to display your bridal portrait at your reception. Want a beautiful canvas to display next to your gift table? Let’s book you a bridal portrait session before your wedding! Make sure you allow enough time after your portraits are taken for you to make your selection, for me to edit your portrait, and for the printer to make the portrait and ship it to us.
You have a location other than your venue where you’d like your portraits to be taken. If you’ve always dreamed of bridal portraits by the sea, but your venue is in the mountains. Or if you always wanted portraits at your grandparents’ farm, then it’s a good option to have portraits ahead of time!
You’re having a hair, makeup, and floral trial anyway, and don’t want them to go to waste!
