Main Street Station Wedding Photography

Claire and Phillip met online, and Phillip got down on one knee and asked Claire to marry him while the two of them were on a guided fishing trip in the mountains. I had the pleasure of meeting the two of them for their Main Street Station engagement session, and it was so fun seeing how excited Claire was when she was inside the historic venue. The couple loves the classic Richmond landmark so much, that they’ll also be having a Main Street Station wedding!

Claire’s mom joined the couple and she really enjoyed watching the two of them interacting as they posed for their photos. This photogenic couple being all romantic really just made Claire’s mom’s heart happy. I always love meeting the couple’s family, and it’s so nice to see how loved and supported these two are.

I’m a huge fan of architecture and the historic Richmond venues, and so I loved getting to use the beautiful arched doorways and windows to frame Claire and Phillip. Afterward, they changed into their more casual outfit while I grabbed a few photos of Claire’s beautiful engagement ring! Then we walked along the canal together for a bit and captured a few more images alongside the James River. I later thought how fitting it was that we took some of their photos by the river since he proposed by the water, too!

I loved getting to spend time photographing these two and can’t wait until their Main Street Station wedding this winter!

Here are a few of my favorite images from their Main Street Station engagement session.
