We shot these Nellysford maternity portraits at Glenthorne Farm near Bold Rock and Wintergreen, and this place is magical for photos!

I first met Tabitha & Austin when we shot their engagement photos at Maymont Park, and I then had the pleasure to photograph their Sorella Farms Wedding in Lynchburg, VA, too. I still remember how it rained all that day, but stopped right before their ceremony was set to start. And right before Tabitha walked down the aisle, the sun popped out and started beaming down. It was just magical!

I love when my wedding couples reach out for maternity & family portraits. It’s such a pleasure to document milestones for my couples, and it’s always so fun seeing them again!

We were blessed with a beautiful sunset for their maternity photos, and the different scenery available for ‘backdrops’ at this farm is a photographer’s dream. I enjoyed exploring the property with these two and it was the perfect location to soak in the views while we celebrate this growing family!

I can’t wait until they welcome their new little one into the world!
