Elegant Country Club of Virginia Wedding in Fall

Merideth and Ryan’s Country Club of Virginia wedding was an effortlessly elegant day of celebration!

The couple met in South Florida where the two of them were working. Christmas day, Merideth sent Ryan a text message wishing him a Merry Christmas, and he invited her out for drinks to celebrate the holiday. A few rounds of mini golf (which Merideth pointed out that she won!) and the rest was history.

The blue sapphire ring Merideth wore served as her borrowed and blue. It was a gift her dad bought for her Mom when he was overseas serving in Desert Storm. And the lace that trimmed Merideth's veil was from her mother's wedding gown.

Merideth and Ryan shared a special First Look before the wedding, and Ryan’s admiration was evident when he turned around and saw Merideth standing there in her chic Pronovias gown. Before the ceremony, guests mingled on the patio and grabbed a cocktail before heading out onto the lawn to take their seats.

The procession was accompanied by beautiful guitar music from Peter Richardson. The couple shared special vows they had written for each other that had their family and guests both laughing and tearing up!

One of my favorite moments from their Country Club of Virginia wedding reception was seeing how one determined family member got everyone on the dance floor by starting a one-man dance party that grew! The band, the Bellevue Rhythmaries, kept everyone dancing the rest of the night!

Merideth and Ryan, I so enjoyed working with you, and your wedding day was classic! It was just beautiful from beginning to end and was such an honor to document it.
