Richmond Engagement Session

It was a beautiful fall evening for Jennifer and Sagar's Libby Hill Park and Main Street Station Engagement Photos!

I had such a fun time getting to know this sweet couple. Jennifer and Sagar chose the perfect locations for their Richmond engagement session, Main Street Station & Libby Hill Park in Church Hill!

The story of this awesome train station started back in 1901 when a Second Renaissance Revival Style location was created. After a hurricane and two fires, the Main Street Station is back working as a train station and as an event space in the heart of Richmond. With its marble flooring, high ceilings, and oversized windows, Main Street Station's Headhouse is a French Renaissance-style location that exudes elegance. Another gorgeous event space at the train station is The Shed. With its open space of steel and glass, The Shed is a versatile venue for any occasion.

We started their engagement session inside the station and captured remarkable photos of them and the beautiful architecture. Main Street Station is not only stunning inside, but it also very close to spectacular outdoor places for photos. The photo opportunities are endless, indoor and outdoor, with this premier Richmond venue.

Jennifer and Sagar brought a beautiful ring box in Jeniffer’s favorite color —purple — for me to photograph her engagement ring! Ring boxes make for a safe place to put your ring, but it's also an adorable accessory to bring to your engagement session and wedding day! I have a collection of ring boxes that I always bring along if you don't have one. There are several different ring box options, but this beauty was engraved with their initials!

To finish a great session together, we ended with beautiful sunset pictures behind the city in Church Hill.
