With their Estate at River Run engagement session, Jennah and Josh made me even more excited to capture more photos of them at their upcoming Estate at River Run wedding!

These two sweethearts met back in 7th grade when they were in the same small group at church. They both have very loving hearts and make such a sweet couple.

This luxurious Goochland wedding venue sits high on a bluff overlooking the James River and boasts the perfect combo of style, classic architecture, and gorgeous views. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we grabbed stunning pictures of them throughout the property that sits in the middle of sixty acres of land, as well as inside the manor.

The riverside mansion has even been featured in the Michael Keaton series Dopesick that is airing now on Hulu. The miniseries, which is set in Virginia, is based on the book by the same name.

As an architecture fan, I was swooning over the design and details of this Richmond area estate wedding venue. Throughout the grounds at this venue, rich greens surround the manor and pool house. Inside, the mansion features rooms adorned with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and beautiful spiral staircases. The large estate actually features several ballrooms. A favorite of mine has to be the two-story Wedgewood Ballroom with its floor-to-ceiling wall of windows and intricate detail work on the ceiling.

It’s always so fun for me to meet with my couples for their engagement photos. It's a time for us to get to know each other better, as well as time for the couple to get comfortable with me, and with posing. Jennah’s mom joined us for our little adventure so I got to know the mother of the bride a bit, too!

While we explored the Virginia estate wedding venue, it was fun to hear about their wedding plans. These two were naturals, so I can only imagine how amazing their wedding portraits will turn out.
