Autumn and Johnny's Mechanicsville wedding at a private estate was an elegant, Tuscan-inspired family celebration with a bit of a Frank Sinatra vibe.

Johnny and Autumn met while they were working together at a restaurant. They connected through Johnny's good friend, who was training Autumn. He asked her out after work a few times, and finally, after a long shift, she agreed. They hit it off that night. The conversation continued to flow, and they ended up at Waffle House to continue hanging out.

Autumn's engagement ring has a sapphire center surrounded by a diamond halo, and Autumn loved how very similar in style it is to her mother's engagement ring.

Her designer wedding gown by Oksana Mukha had bits of silver that reflected the light and was simply stunning. Autumn wore a silver crown and matching sparkly shoes to complete her chic bridal look.

Their wedding ceremony was held at the Historic Potomoi Church in Mechanicsville. This small brick church was the perfect size to hold their closest family and friends. They had two precious flower girls who wore white dresses with a pink bow on the back and feathered angel wings.

Once their ceremony concluded, we took their wedding photos at the nearby Rural Plains. Rural Plains is a 1660s farmhouse where Patrick Henry, one of the United States founding fathers and the first governor of Virginia, was married.

Spring was starting to show its colors on this lovely day as yellow tulips had bloomed. A gorgeous sunset rounded out their portraits perfectly.

They had their wedding reception at Autumn's aunt's house, as she spent a lot of time there growing up, and it holds a lot of memories for her. (Her aunt and I are practically neighbors, as we live about a mile or so apart!) Her aunt’s home was not only sentimental, but it was the perfect backdrop for Autumn’s wedding vision to come to life perfectly.

A clear top tent was set up in the backyard to allow the natural beauty of the day and night to be seen. Old wooden farm tables lined the tent and were adorned with fruit-filled centerpieces, gorgeous gilded china place settings, and candlesticks in gold. The cake display was jaw-dropping with a simple, five-tier, white cake decorated with a vast floral statement that swooped from the top of the cake all the way to the ground.

Autumn & Johnny, it was so heartwarming to see the love you share for each other and for your family. It was an absolute pleasure to serve you on your wedding day and help preserve your memories for future generations!
