Chelsea and Richard’s Mill at Fine Creek Wedding was a little toasty, but it was the most gorgeous day from beginning to end!

In the spring of 2017, Richard and Chelsea met while they were both out with friends celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day! They had an instant connection as soon as they began talking. Once they both realized they shared a love for travel, food, and having similar personalities, they knew there was something special between the two of them!

After enjoying many travels and adventures over the year, Richard knew he wanted to marry Chelsea. That year, while they were enjoying dinner on Valentine’s Day, he knew this would be the perfect time to propose! He proposed with a classic three-stone ring that had been in his family, and Chelsea happily said, ‘yes!’

The Mill at Fine Creek wedding venue is a beautiful location for a wedding. This venue features the gristmill ruins, which are such a romantic setting—especially at night when the vine-draped ruins are lit only by the bistro lights draped across the top. The area is surrounded by trees in the forest and the waters and granite rocks of Fine Creek. It’s designed to embrace the outdoors, and is known for its fine dining options—perfect for outdoorsy foodies Richard and Chelsea!

Chelsea and Richard had a large wedding party, and the couple really enjoyed spending time with their crew while they were getting ready. The bridal suite had a really nice area for hair and makeup and was large enough to accommodate all the bridesmaids, vendors, and all the belongings one needs when getting ready to be in a wedding!

Next up was the first look between Chelsea and her father. I love that after Chelsea’s dad admired how beautiful his daughter looked, he lifted up a pants leg to show off that he was wearing ‘fun socks.’ It was just the bit of humor that any bride would appreciate to help alleviate any nerves!

Afterward, the lovely couple shared a romantic first look at the Mill Stone Ruins. They both beamed with affectionate smiles and were so excited to see each other and catch up!

In addition to the groomsmen and bridesmaids, flower dudes tossed petals to the wind and one carried an infant ring bearer down the aisle. The couple’s beloved dogs also made an appearance wearing matching bowties. Chelsea & Richard said their vows in front of the floral draped rustic pergola by the willow tree, and it was such a beautiful ceremony!

After the ceremony, their precious pups joined in on some pictures! Their pooches made an appearance at their engagement photos as well! The signature drinks at their reception were named after their dogs, which is such a cute idea!

We headed down to the creek after dinner to capture some sunset portraits of the couple on the rocks. Later, we snuck away from the dancing and the fantastic party of their reception to grab a few portraits in the ruins at night, too.

To end their fantastic wedding day, their guests cheered the couple on as they exited the venue with bubbles filling the air.

Chelsea and Richard, it was an honor to be part of your wedding day! It was so fun seeing you guys having such a blast with all your friends and family. And it was great seeing how your vision came together so beautifully!
