Meredith and Jordan's Red Fox Inn Wedding in Middleburg was the perfect celebration of their marriage with just their families by their sides.

They both were attending Virginia Tech when they first met one another. Meredith was handing out pens at a dining hall while working an event. Right before she left for class, she saw a cute guy walking toward her, so she gave him a pen. She felt like she knew him from somewhere, and once they connected through social media, she realized they went to rival high schools.

The two dated long distance for a while after Jordan moved to Los Angeles after graduation pursue his career as a record producer. During one of Meredith's visits to him, they planned to picnic at their favorite beach, Point Dume. They grabbed Chipotle (where their first date was) and made their way to the beach. She noticed a blanket, roses, champagne, and his guitar when they got there. After singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" to Meredith, he asked her to marry him!

Jordan and Meredith planned an intimate, elegant elopement with just their families. Red Fox Inn in Middleburg is one of my favorite venues for intimate weddings! The grounds are beautiful, with lots of little ‘secret gardens’ and pathways that are wonderful backdrops for portraits.

On their wedding day, Meredith was able to include a few things from her grandmothers. The ring she wears was from her maternal grandmother, and it fits so perfectly it didn't even need to get resized! Her bouquet included an heirloom rosary from her paternal grandmother. Sweet touches like these are so special for me to capture.

Since they both graduated from Virginia Tech, they wanted to memorate the school in their wedding. They tastefully used VT's burnt orange and maroon colors in some of their wedding decor including a burnt orange velvet ring box to style with their invitations and rings. At their reception tablescape, maroon-colored florals and burnt orange napkins were used.

After they said their "I dos" in the Courtyard Gardens with their immediate family, we explored the gorgeous property for their wedding portraits. They moved the celebration into The Jeb Stuart room where Meredith and Jordan shared a sweet first dance, along with cutting their wedding cake. Their wedding day was perfectly fitting for who they are as a couple, and it was heartwarming seeing them include their families on their big day.

Meredith and Jordan, I absolutely adored working with you both for your engagement and wedding photography! You two are truly just the best, and I wish you every bit of happiness for a lifetime spent basking in love together.
